Microtech SOCOM Elite Ram-Lok Prototype

The Microtech SOCOM Elite Ram-Lok Prototype is a full-size manual folder that came out of the Marfione side of the Microtech shop. It is marked as a prototype, so it is a piece for the collector who wants a configuration that sits outside the normal catalog run. It still carries and cuts like a working SOCOM Elite.

The blade wears a cracked ice finish over Bohler M390MK steel. The handle is double vapor blasted titanium with a textured inlay for grip and a blue anodized titanium accent. Double vapor blast stainless hardware ties the look together with a soft, matte surface that hides handling marks.

Lock-up comes from Ram-Lok, Microtech's ambidextrous crossbar-style lock. It closes the same way with either hand and gives a firm, positive lockup. If you collect SOCOM variants or want a one-off titanium Microtech folder in the case, this one belongs on the short list.
