Microtech Knives

Microtech Knives was founded in 1994 by Anthony and Susan Marfione in Vero Beach, Florida, and now builds its knives in Mills River and Fletcher, North Carolina. It is best known for OTF automatics like the Ultratech, Combat Troodon and Hera II, and it also makes side-opening automatics, RAM-LOK manual folders, fixed blades and a culinary line.

Where do you ship Microtech knives from?

We ship from our shop in Lafayette, Louisiana, and you can also see Microtech in person in our showroom.

What is the difference between Microtech OTF and OTS knives?

OTF (out-the-front) knives like the Ultratech and Combat Troodon fire the blade straight out of the handle. OTS (out-the-side) automatics like the LUDT and Stitch Auto open from the side like a folder.

What steel does Microtech use?

Most current Microtech knives use Bohler M390MK.
