Chaves Knives FAQ

What does 229 vs Street mean?

229 is the full-size version of a Chaves design, and Street is the compact everyday-carry version.

What is the difference between Blue Label and Red Label?

Blue Label is Chaves' more affordable line, usually liner locks with aluminum, G-10 or Micarta handles. Red Label is the premium line with titanium frame-lock or integral handles and M390 steel.

What is a magnetic integral handle?

The handle is machined from a single block of titanium, and the show-side inlay is held on by magnets so it can be swapped without tools.

Where do you ship Chaves knives from?
