International Shipping Policy

International Shipping Policy – Cajun Knife & Gear

1. Scope

This policy applies to all international orders of knives (including fixed-blade knives, folding knives, and other edged tools) placed via Cajun Knife & Gear. By placing an international order you agree to abide by the following terms.

2. Shipping Method / Checkout Instructions

  • At checkout, international customers must select the “Click & Collect” shipping option.
  • The only accepted payment method for international orders is wire transfer.
  • Because shipping of knives internationally requires special handling and compliance with export/import regulations, we will only proceed once the wire transfer has been received and confirmed.

3. Restricted Countries

We regret that we cannot ship to certain countries due to export, import, or customs restrictions. The list of restricted countries may change without notice. Currently, orders cannot be shipped to (including but not limited to):

  • United Kingdom
  • Turkey
  • Indonesia
  • Singapore
  • Ukraine
  • Russia
  • Latvia
  • Lithuania
  • Kazakhstan
  • Bulgaria
  • Azerbaijan
  • Georgia
  • Uzbekistan
  • Serbia
  • Tajikistan
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Nigeria
  • Sierra Leone

Other countries or regions may also be restricted. If your country is on the restricted list, or if you are unsure about your country’s eligibility, please contact us before placing your order.

4. Duties, Taxes, Fees & Responsibility

  • International customers are responsible for all shipping costs, duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, import levies, brokerage fees, storage, and other associated charges incurred in the destination country.
  • Cajun Knife & Gear is not responsible for any additional costs or fees assessed by the destination country’s customs or postal service.
  • If the shipment is refused, returned, seized by customs, or lost in transit, the customer bears all risk and cost. We cannot accept responsibility or provide a refund for such events.

5. Package Declarations & Compliance

  • We will strictly comply with all package declaration requirements: the contents, value, and nature of the goods will be clearly and accurately declared on the customs form. We do not falsify or omit information.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm that they are permitted to receive the items in their destination country and that they are aware of their local laws regarding importation, possession, and use of knives. We assume no liability for legal violations or seizure by customs.

6. Order Processing & Shipment Timing

  • Orders will be processed only after receipt of the wire transfer and confirmation that the destination country is eligible.
  • Transit times for international shipments may vary and can take longer than domestic shipments due to customs processes, local carrier delays, and other factors.
  • The customer bears the risk from the time of dispatch; tracking may not reflect all transit events such as customs holds or local carrier delays.

7. Return, Refusal & Lost Shipments

  • If an international shipment is refused, returned, or incurs additional return shipping costs, these costs will be borne by the customer.
  • We will not issue a refund if the package is lost, stolen, seized by customs, or otherwise delayed beyond our control.
  • Warranty claims, returns, or exchanges for international orders require the customer to cover all return shipping costs as well as any export/import fees.

8. Export & Import Laws

  • Knives may be restricted items in certain jurisdictions. By placing an international order you confirm that you understand and will comply with any import, export, carry, or ownership laws applicable in your country.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order if shipping to your country is determined to be unlawful or unfeasible.
  • If you knowingly attempt to order from a restricted country or mis-declare your address or shipping location, we will cancel the order and refuse shipment.
